I was reading about how important it is to install it correctly to make sure that it works well at higher speeds (40 - 55 mph). I have a plate on the transom to mount it on, but I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on installing it to make it work well. Quote

I would advise that for a console unit, that you trade in the supplied skimmer transducer for a trolling motor/ shoot thru style and install it in the bilge. Thanks for asking Quote
