I just made a post in an Illinois thread and it said it must be reviewed by the mods...What's that  all about?

Where were you when you posted? Certain rooms trigger a red flag.

why do you ask?

He just wants to know where he can film his exploits without the vid being removed.

When I do that, I don't get flagged. Posts just disappear or threads get locked. I'm thinking BR has some sort of algorithm and when I posted a helpful comment, it figured my account got hijacked by someone who gives a d**n and flagged it it instantly. :ok-wink:

I penned what I thought was an excellent answer to a question and the entire post was red flagged.

I don't recall if I just removed it or left it there.

I can't remember which one it was but it was a dynamite post.

There are automatic thresholds, of which I don't understand completely, built into the forum app that require a post to be approved, from time to time.  It's not a big deal, and doesn't signal that you've done anything wrong.  We moderators get a reminder to review and approve these posts, and we all get to them when we see them.

@Sam you can see any of your posts from your own profile page, by clicking your own name at the top left of the page, and picking "My Activity."

Ya, there's a bug that randomly picks posts to be reviewed. Doesn't happen very often, which is both good and bad.  Good: it doesn't affect many people.

Bad: it makes it essentially impossible to troubleshoot.

Still working on fixing it. But as AJ said, we're quick to review and post them.  So no big deal.
