I live in northern Delaware and it seems like the wind is blowing all the time nowadays. It's been incredibly frustrating as a bank fisherman that can only get out a day or two a week, and it seems like whenever I do get a chance I can barely cast with the wind. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Any tips on how to overcome it?

Windy days and nasty thunderstorms seem to be more frequent these days.  I'm a fly fisherman and I hate windy days.  Since you're bank fishing, if you're on a lake or pond you should be able to find a spot that has some sort of wind break, trees, bushes, buildings, etc.  What are you throwing?   If I were using a spinning rod or bait casting rod I would prefer to have the wind at my back and try a side arm cast rather than an overhead cast.

Wind has been blowing pretty good here in So. Cali lately too. Very strange for this time of year.

Been the same up my as as well. Was out today fighting it with gusts over 25 mph. Thought I heard the local weather guy today say this was the windiest stretch since '96.

Seems like nothing but wind on the lakes up here in Michigan. Frustrating for me in the kayak when all I want to do is flip bushes because the water is so high and murky.

It is always windy here in Kansas. I consider anything under 12 mph a calm day.

funny thing is if we do get the frequent calm day, the bass go into hibernation.

If you want to get skunked, fish a Kansas reservoir on a calm day.

I lived in Kansas for a couple years and can attest to the perma-wind.

Was fishing a lake here in Michigan yesterday and there was basically no wind. It got hot really fast and it was a tad on the uncomfortable side to fish. Only relief came from running to different parts of the lake.

It's been windy here in Indiana as well.  In the early morning it hasn't been too bad but around 11am it's getting pretty windy consistently.   Being out on a kayak in open water is almost impossible.
