I'll probably swap mine to ST 36s like I do most of my baits. The hooks don't seem terrible, but I have the replacements already and hate to lose a monster to lesser hooks.

I didn't change mine. They are pretty stout hooks and I was lazy.  Only caught one fish on it but it was a pretty good one.

What size do you go with? I'm thinking the 1/0 looks about right?

That sounds right. I've got #2-2/0 in my swimbait wraps so I'll just have to do a side by side comparison and decide which looks best. The Arashi is one of the 2 baits I brought with me to work to toss around when I get off in the morning. Bait looks good, haven't got bit on it yet though.

They do seem plenty stout. I just think the hook sharpness leaves a bit to be desired. I suppose I could just sharpen them.

They come stock with VMC 2/0 trebles on them, I replaced mine with short shank EWG Owner Stingers, but I’m keeping the VMC hooks because VMC make’s awesome hooks I just wanted short shanks in EWG’s
