Super User MickD Posted May 18, 2020 Super User Posted May 18, 2020 Great work. I really think the ergonomics of the star wars rod, with the front grip going off the hood of an uplocking seat, and about the same diameter as the seat hood, will be very good. The front grip becomes a ramp. I do it on bass spin rods and like them a lot better than any option I see here or on other forums. For me the size 17 seat is right. 1 Quote
Fishingmickey Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Those rods are things of beauty! Love that carbon fiber handle and the detailed cork grips are awesome too! Are they for sale? FM 1 Quote

They feel like a quality piece. I've only used the one for about 15 minutes on the jerkbait rod before realizing they weren't biting those that day! Haven't felt how it is when wet yet. I don't like fishin' in the rain anyway? Quote
