Fallser Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Philadelphia to be exact. First confession, I'm a fly fisherman. I throw flies at bass. I've been looking for a site for general information on bass fishing and tactics. You don't see a lot of that type of information on fly fishing forums. Figure I can pass on what I learn here to the three guys I fish with. They don't fly fish but could use some help with bass. Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted May 11, 2020 Super User Posted May 11, 2020 I fly fish for bass too....i have a Fly Tying post on here that i add to when I tie something new. You fishing the Delaware or lakes? Soak in all the information on here and just apply it to fly fishing. Lots of good flies out there that imitate just about everything under the sun and for every conceivable condition. There are days that fly fishing out fishes conventional and vice versa. As long as you are having fun and catching fish...it's all good Quote

As long as you are having fun and catching fish...it's all good I'll check out your post flyfisher. I live about 5 minutes from the Schuylkill River, but it's conducive to fly fishing. Mainly, I fish a local creek, the Wissahickon, it has both smallmouth and largemouth in it. Average size for both is between 10 and 12 inches though are some larger ones in it. Lakes in the area and up in the Poconos. Some of the other creeks in the area. Four of us , try and make a trip up to Northern Ontario, this year we're scheduled to go up the end of August, first part of September, maybe. Quote

I follow the Flyers, but lean more toward the Eagles, Sixers and Phillies Quote
