Numbers : Smaller soft plastics.

Bigger fish: Larger soft plastics

The bait I have that consistently catches both are Zoom super flukes.

So guess what I use the most?

I really want to start throwing more soft plastics but the fish won't leave my Jerkbaits alone.......they've also been roughing up spinnerbaits.

Bass bite in shallow warm water as well. I have caught +8 pound bass in water less than 5 feet deep during warm weather.

The majority of bass Ive caught over 5 pounds at ANY time was in less than 5 feet of water...

You know,  me too . I catch   lots of fifteen inch keepers in deep water but the big ones usually come shallow . Every once in awhile though , I'll hook up with one .

Bass in Florida like to in and around heavy aquatic vegetation so it is no surprise that many 5 pound or better bass are caught in these areas.

Swim jigs, soft plastics rigged on a 1/4 oz jig head and senkos.

Soft plastics...Texas rig, Carolina rig, split shot rig and weightless.

Also topwater-Walking baits, Frogs, Prop baits, Poppers & Floating Jerkbaits...I throw some type of floating Jerkbait every time I go fishing in any condition, I will modify them to fit situations with suspend dots, swap trebles, file lips etc....

I am most confident with either a Rapala Minnow,Jointed minnow for waking, or bomber long a, FLoating Rogue & Bagleys Bang o lure....And the gold/Chart jointed Rebel and a Red Fin.

I recently started throwing the Duel Floating minnows as they have smaller 2-3" jerkbaits that cast a mile with awesome hooks. Also the Daiwa TD Minnow

I have a Rippllin Red Fin . Ever  hear of that one ?  A close friend  caught a bunch of bis bass with them , so I bought one and never used it .

Edited I see they still make them .

If I'm serious about bass fishing I only take two rods - spinning, eight and six pound line, and Texas rigging soft plastics or split-shot soft plastics.

Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and a double wide beaver on a punch rig.

I'd choose big swimbaits & frogs for big girls when fishing alone.

Super Fluke, Shakey Head, & petite spinnerbait if I want to show out or have a back seater.

I favor a jig more often than not. Only thing that stops me is too much slop.  If conditions are ideal for it, I get out a spinnerbait as much as possible.

In the river, I almost exclusively use squarebills.  They catch everything that swims there.

Crankin' 1-10 ft

Honorable Mention:

Wacky Rigged Stick Baits

Texas Rig

Spinnerbait

1/2 oz. jig

I'd say those three are what I do best.
