I recently bought a boat that had an old bottom line tournament leader series fish finder that had the transducer cut off of it, and I can't find a replacement so I am shopping for a new Depth Finder. I am looking for a budget minded depth finder. I would like to spend less than $200. I currently have a Humminbird 535 Portable and like the features of that unit and I contemplated just buying a power cable transducer and mounting base for it but all the parts are going to cost me over $100 and right now on bps I can get the 525 for $119. Is there a better budget minded depth finder that I should look at. I have seen the Eagle Cuda's and the Garmin 140.
