Searched on this and saw a few things but not everything in one place.  I bought a Coleman Crawdad to fish some small electric only and private ponds.  Anyone have any good tips or mods that made it better?

Would a foot control trolling motor for okay?  What would be the best batter if I only go 12 volt?  Anybody so 2 12 volts for a bigger trolling motor?

Any good comfort mods?

Any good ideas or experience appreciated!

I had a crawdad about 10 years ago.  All we did was replace the wood floors and seats.  If you put some nice swivel seats on it that would be nice.

For trolling motor 12 volts is fine.  the only way I'd do two batteries is if you went lithium due to the weight. I dont know how you'd do a bow mount with foot control in that boat without some serious mods.  You could reverse the handle so you could use the hand controls in front like some saltwater boats.
