garroyo130 Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Ive done ship to store. Ships in a tube like anywhere else. Worked well, rod was fine. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I don’t think it matters whether it’s delivered to the store or home. Rarely does damage to packages occur once they’re “ out for delivery”. It’s the conveyors in the processing plants that are really rough on stuff at times. Quote
BigTimeBassin Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I’m 2 for 2 on damaged shipping tubes from USPS. Haven’t had any issues with UPS or Fedex. Quote
LonnieP Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I’ve ordered multiple rods from Bass Pro over the years and never received a damaged one. Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted May 9, 2020 Super User Posted May 9, 2020 Bass Pro uses big thick tubes. Never had a problem. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Before our BPS opened an hour from me I receive maybe four rods in the mail. Only one from UPS arrived with the tube bent over maybe 20 degrees at 2 ft down from the tube end. It contained a 7' Medium Carbonite spinning rod and when I removed the rod it boinged right back to straight with no damage. Quote
