Gents,

99% of the time I am using a M baitcaster and am thinking of adding a spinning rod to the quiver for this technique.

Just wondering what folks are using?

My favorite spinners are the Addermine and Loomis GLX.

I use a tatula CHX 3000 10lb braid to a leader with a 7’ medium tatula spinning rod.

Way outta my price range but I have an older powell endurance 702 with an even older stradic 2500 spooled with 10 lb braid.  I use it for alot of hard and soft jerk baits.  I also have a daiwa tatula6'6 medium ( one of the first gen) , *** 2000 with 8lb mono.

I have 2 that I use, 1 is a 6' 8" M H2O Ethos (favorite one). The other is an Okuma EVX 6' 10" M/F. They both do a nice job but the Ethos has a really nice even bend to it that keeps them stuck on the little hooks of the small jerkbaits I throw on it. I use the Okuma for tossing standard sized jerks when the wind gets too strong.

I was just in the market as well and settled on the Megabass Ronin. It hasn't arrived yet, but it fits the bill on paper. It was designed for fishing 110s, so it should do the job. Plus it's pretty.

Another MB Ronin fan here...I still prefer casting gear for most jerkbaits, but I use the Ronin when throwing the small ones like Pointer 65's.

The Ronin is awesome as a JB rod and could easily be used for full size ones if someone wanted to.
