Granola bars, and a whole lot of water.  If I'm going to be doing some driving then I will stop off at White Castle and pick up some belly bombers for the trip.

Some type of sandwich, a small bag of chips, a candy bar and a 20-ounce Cherry Coke. Also several bottles of water.

Most of the time I'm so caught up in fishing I don't even think about eating. But I always have a sandwich, peanut butter crackers, chips, water, diet dew and Gatorade.

Only time i bring an actual lunch is if i know it will be a 12 hour plus day and it involves a lot of paddling or fighting the wind.  Otherwise, a protein bar or two and a few gatorades and i am good to go.

I too am one of those that rarely eats when I fish. I am usually on the water 5-10 hours at a time and I just don't eat much. No time for it ? However if you are gonna get on my boat with me, you had best be bringing along some deer sausage ?

I eat lunch at work and usually fish the evening. If I’m out all day I usually just wish that I had lunch and start watching along the bank for blackberries and papaws . If by some miracle I have enough forethought to bring food, it’s usually a massive bag of tortilla chips. They still taste ok with fishy hands and the salt replaces what you sweat out haha

PBJ, jerky, water, gatoraid, mized nuts, mini-snickers, potato chips at times.

Doesn't matter, probably won't eat it until I'm driving home for dinner. Unless I'm out there literally all day and need the break at 1 PM after 6 hours out in the sun.

I eat breakfast before going fishing and stop for lunch on the way home. I put a bag of ice in the boat cooler with water, apples or oranges and a few Kind bars. Fishing with a partner I add a couple of beers in the cooler for after putting the boat on trailer to drink during wiping the boat down and putting stuff away. Don't eat much while fishing.

I am in your camp. I like to stop and look around while I eat lunch. Think about what is working and what is not. Decide which setups need to put away or put different baits on. Maybe get out some different setups depending on where I will be fishing.

Pepperoni rolls, beef jerky, Snickers, water & Gatorade, and mt dew/monster hydro (I don't like energy drinks, but I work 2nd shift.  Morning comes quick)

If it's just a quick trip a Gatorade and the same granola bar that's been in my bag since who knows when.

Coffee, bottle of water and maybe fruit bars.

Water and coffee is all I drink now since I've been sober. ( had to quit drinking alcohol)

I make it a priority to 'eat on schedule', whether I'm fishing or on the road to & from the lake.

It's important to me, so I always pack chow & water; in the truck and in the boat.

Probably a bit over the top with it, but that's what it takes for me to meet my own goals.

As for what I bring: it's usually whatever type of baked or grilled chicken/turkey and vegetables I'm working on at home, in a couple of flat breads / wraps.  May include a cliff bar or two as well.

And as an OG, portion control goes a long way to helping to keep me lean.

Either way, gotta put gas in the tank to keep the engine running.
