NavyVet Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 I would like to clean the blanks on some of my rods. What would you suggest I use? Thanks Quote
garroyo130 Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Water and dawn should be fine. If you really want to splurge, KVD Line and Lure conditioner. For the cork I've had good luck with the Mr. Clean magic erasers. 3 Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Any mild detergent with a fresh water rinse is fine. For tougher stains denatured alcohol is safe and effective. A wipe with Armorall or Pledge adds shine and a little protection and dirt shedding. Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted May 2, 2020 Super User Posted May 2, 2020 I rinse my rods with freshwater especially after fishing in saltwater. So far it has worked well and I got +20 year old rods that are in great shape cleaning them this way. Quote
