I got the Wilderness Systems ATAK 120 last season as a get well gift after my accident and being in coma. Last year just paddled it as is stock, this year I made some major upgrades to her.

Torqeedo 1103ac

Power pole micro

Raymarine Element 9

Bow mounted Anchor wizard

only had her out a few times absolutely love it but threw out the little bit of exercise I got paddling upstream and around the lake haha. The 1103 pushes her at a sustained 6.3mph top speed.

the element is crazy detailed also love the hyper vision it has It’s definitely different.

My Atak 120 was the best paddling kayak I ever owned.  I bet that thing flies with the Torqeedo.

Yeah 6.3mph which on a yak is pretty fast. That speed it says it only has a range of like 8 miles but when I dial it down to just cruise spot to spot it says 40-50miles when dialed down to 3-4mph. My atak 140 paddles faster than the 120 I might get that one set up for the torqeedo and just swap em out depending on day and waters I’m fishing

I have a Bixby on my Bonafide and can get up to the mid 4's.  I've never been close to using up a battery charge.  My big test will be in July when I take it up to a big lake that I want to get to the other side of.

I'd be interested to see how you have that rigged, if possible.

Here is a picture of the battery on the crate and another of the rudder in the up postion, the Bixby is not attached but it would be on the bottom of the rudder.  You can also see the rudder deployment rope, it comes from the top of the rudder then through two pulleys and up to the side of my seat.

I haven't even got pictures yet as I'm still waiting for the trailer title to arrive so I can get it registered but when I get it loaded and am ready to go I'll get some pictures to post.

I got my oldest son a Kaku Voodoo and we added an anchor trolley and got that setup a few days ago. Today, we installed the anchor trolley and setup my youngest's Old Town Topwater and I gotta say, that is a pretty sweet boat especially for the price. I have an anchor trolley and some rod holders to add to mine as well, but unfortunately my silicone tube exploded out the back right as I finished the anchor trolley on the Topwater so I have to wait for another one to arrive before I can add mine.

Glad to see you appear to be doing well after your accident. I hear those Wilderness Systems kayaks are pretty sweet too and yours looks nicely rigged.

how does the bixby handle weedy lakes?  does the jet get clogged up?

I was just out on a weedy lake this morning.  I installed the weed guard on it which helps.  It does slow it down a bit.
