Super User Sam Posted April 26, 2020 Super User Posted April 26, 2020 Jens, welcome to the Forum. My response to your query: 1. Marsh areas of south Louisiana for redfish and other saltwater species. 2. Any tidal river and its tributaries. 3. Freshwater lakes. Fishing in the Louisiana marsh is fantastic. Fishing in the Louisiana bayou's can be exciting with all of the critters watching you. Quote

Big Hands Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 If you're in Cleburne, TX, you're ten miles from Squaw Creek which is a pretty decent fishery year round because it's a power plant lake and the water is relatively warm all year. You're also close to Granbury, and lots of small soil conservation ponds, which are great places to fish if you can access them. You have a TON of excellent lakes within an hour to an hour and a half from you. Quote
