I have a sc Legend bass tournament and a sc legend walleye and need a reel for them.  I tried a Abu graces c4 but its absolute junk.  I love my Curado but it is too big.  This will go on a medium weight rod.  Price range is unlimited.

Abu Garcia round reels are junk? Huh that's weird I have one that's 25 years old that's caught thousands of catfish and redfish with no problems. Guess I should throw it away now that I know how bad it sucks.

Send it to me and I'll properly dispose of it.

What are you fishing for?

You tried a round reel abu and somehow that wasn't too big, it was just junk but the Curado is too big?

If your budget is unlimited.....  Daiwa Steez SV TWS.  There is pretty much nothing this reel can't handle, smooth, light and handle anything from about 1/8oz to 3/4oz easily.

I am sorry for criticizing Abu but I have had many top of the line models which have been so underwhelming for the price.  Shimano have been great.  I will try a steez and lews and see how they are.  thanks for the input!

The Curado was a 300 EJ so while it works I want something a little smaller
