I was listening to a good topic that came up on BTL and basically they were talking about how a lot of fishing products actually are coming out of the Wuhan province China and a lot also gets shipped out from Italy and Gautamala my point being nothing is coming out of there now and even though most warehouses here are pretty stocked up for now, if things continue like this for as long as they say it might continue. Tackle that’s now completely stocked in here in the states will be running very thin very soon or sooner than we think?
  What are your guys thoughts?

I think I've got enough tackle to last me a few years if I had to make it last...as do several others lol. I'm always trying to buy enough of what I think I need to last a while so I guess if that is true then it's good that I have stocked up! Personally dont see it being an issue...but never saw this whole pandemic thing coming either!

Yes its coming...I manage cell site development and we’re pushing our guys to scope and order as much as possible asap, as a few of the manufacturers themselves are saying by late 2nd quarter things will likely get very dry.

I'm good. JFYI, I saw on TW, that there is an 11 day waiting period on shipping, due to the slash in staffing. I ordered some small reel parts from Asia, and the wait time is shown to be 30 to 50 days.

Still waiting on my 20 Metanium and waiting on someone to get a 7'2 MH Expride in stock. I don't have to have them so I can wait.

I did place an order through TW and it was before I noticed the 11 day shipping delay. Luckily mine was only a 3 day delay, but I would shop elsewhere if I had to wait 11 days just to get an order shipped.

True. But if I couldn't get anything I would be good for awhile.  To prove your point, I have a G. Loomis 903C CBR on the way.  It's a different rod from anything I have or have ever fished.  We will see how it goes.

Epic Erik has it all you got me there, but I bet he doesn’t feel that way.

Of course we all want more...that won't change. And we will definitely want things more when they are out of stock...that's how humans are wired. But in reality myself and most of us here could easily make due for a long time with what we have. When I started all I threw was a spinnerbait and a Texas rig. I now have an uncountable number of hooks, weights and plastics. Also have 50 or 60 spinnerbaits. So I'll tough it out if it comes to that.

That's some straight up crazy stuff right there.  But wow, that's an awesome collection.

There was a member here that posted some photos years ago of his walk-in closet full of just tackle and I thought that was huge.  This guy is on another level.

Wow!!!  That guy has more stuff than most small fishing tackle stores I've been in.

Where I live both Dick’s and Academy stopped selling fishing gear. We do have a Cabela’s that seems fully stocked now.

For the next few weeks I’m visiting my parents and the local Dick’s has some fishing gear but the Bass Pro in nearby Savannah is closed.

It looks like I may have to buy more gear at Walmart since their supply chain is probably the strongest.

I actually noticed now since I have been looking at tackle closer and where it is made, most of the tackle I buy is made right here in our great country so I am good!  Gonna stick to that from here on out as much as possible!

Or you could go with the guy on YouTube whose theory is that the original Ned TRD attracts fish because it looks like a goose turd ?
