We were deluged with rain last night into today and it blew out the river, I just hope it doesn't impact the spawn too much.

To put the river level into perspective, I was out there on the the 5th and the river levels were around 4.5' and there were certain areas where paddling upstream was a losing battle but it was still manageable.

Guess I will focus on lake fishing for a little while...unfortunately.

Don't feel too bad. Flooding is what got me interested in lakes in the first place. Right now the Mississippi is above flood stage, so it looks like I'll STAY interested in lakes for a while, too.    jj

Here’s what the TN river looked like yesterday, my buddy still managed to get that white bass and a drum. All the dams and highland reservoirs prevent it from getting out of the banks during constant rains but it was quite clear the day before. I saw some tributaries while driving around working yesterday that were out of their banks and into the woods and fields 762BFB99-165F-4D45-9A67-E6CD7696D1DA.jpeg
