I feel as if the company targets groupie teens, but they do have some nice looking buzbaits. Do they say Cavitron on it? If not, it's not a nice looking buzzbait. Quote

But switched to the homemade Whopper Frog and never went back. Don't use buzzbaits anymore. Whopper Frog never gets stuck and can be used in anything from open water to lilly pads, to moss, and everything else. 5 Quote
Bass Junkie Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I’ve had good results with Cavitron and the Damiki MTB without the clacker. I’ve caught fish on a lot of buzzbaits but these two are consistent catchers. I prefer the Damiki because it comes on plane really quickly, the head design is solid. Quote

Super User Teal Posted April 21, 2020 Super User Posted April 21, 2020 Any color you want as long as its black. Quote
heavyduty Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Prototype Lures buzzbait. Has a stainless steel rivet and man does that make the blade squeak! Also has a planer style head that helps keep it up on slower retrieves, and you can bend the blade wire so that the blade can hit the head for more noise/thump. Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 21, 2020 Super User Posted April 21, 2020 1. What is your favorite buzz bait (Brand and Color)? - Cavitron with gold blade and white skirt; Special buzzbait by a local guy and sold at a local tackle shop with a silver blade and white skirt. 2. Do you use a trailer on it? (Type / Brand and Color)? - No. Only a trailer hook. Quote

Sorry for being such an inconvenience lol. If you're anything like me you were itching for a reason to dig into some tackle? Thanks, much appreciated. 1 Quote

Or do you throw it a few times, throw something else for a bit, then go back to the buzzbait? I would venture to say that half of the fish I catch on buzzers come after the first cast to a piece of cover, normally the second or third, but there have been times when it was the sixth or seventh. Throw it over and over then wait a minute or so and throw it again. If there's a bass there, she's gonna get pi$$d and clobber that thing. Hart makes a buzzer that's both a fish catcher and a good value. I wish they made an in-line version. Quote

I have a friend who will throw at the same piece of cover twenty times or more and catches giants doing it . I never have had strikes doing that . 2 Quote

He has a three way swivel hung around the two hooks with the third leg holding a spring system. Probably something like an owner cps spring. Teckel sells the legs separately on tackle warehouse. 1 Quote
