Our girls are working everyday and wanted to spend the weekend with mom and Dad, we sadly declined, they understood. We went out this morning to drop Easter eggs for all the kids in community as a part of Family Matter Club . Hartwood71 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 We just finished a five family zoom session. Despite the distance, the connection seemed stronger. Overcoming the distance- that sort of thing. Proof again, that absence can make the heart grow fonder. In some twisted way, this whole experience holds some real benefits. For example, this has definitely helped me to draw a more clear line between the things that matter to me and the things which don’t. Happy Easter or anything else you choose to value. CrankFate Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Went to Texas Roadhouse and bought a rib roast to cook at home, they gave me one that was 7lbs instead of 5lbs, which was nice. Plus 12 dinner rolls with butter and 6 big potatoes. Baked some semi sweet chocolate chunk cookies. Whipped up some cheddar cheese and chive mashed potatoes, gravy and horseradish cream sauce. Couldn’t eat anything until 5:30pm today, because I was still full from yesterday. 1 Quote
