MONSTERhudd Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I have a Eagle cuda 242 that I want to mount up into my aluminum boat. What is the best way to mount it? Can someone tell me more about setting sensitivity and grayline? Quote
CGH Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Mount it on your transom or on the trolling motor. Don't try to shoot through aluminum boat's hull Quote
MONSTERhudd Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I wasn't planning on doing a shoot thru. When mounted on the trolling motor, will I get too much noise? Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted February 2, 2009 Super User Posted February 2, 2009 I wasn't planning on doing a shoot thru. When mounted on the trolling motor, will I get too much noise? Not unless you have a bad trolling motor. Quote
GW Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I have the transducer for mine mounted on my trolling motor. I spent 4 bucks at ACE hardware and bought a hoseclamp to clamp it on with. Works great. Quote
