It's more the crowds at the launch ramps with so many out of work and having spare time that they're worried about. That's my thought on it anyway.

I launch my canoe at the exact same ramps where I launch my boat.

Ya, but the powerboat users are MUCH more numerous than us canoe launchers. They also have a habit of standing around jawing with each other while waiting for the ramp to clear. That's the issue when you have a line of 15 or more boats waiting to launch at a 2-slot ramp.

Haven't seen it yet, but can't wait!  The twins are so cute and almost exactly alike!

Lol, I have only seen season 1.  They were looking for identical twin boys, of a certain age, and notified through birth records in the area.  There was a casting and our boys won.  Amazing!

This opened the door for me to share this.

I'm at Walmart and see a friend I've not seen since graduation " 1980 ".

We share life stories and he indicated he had twin boys. I say " AWESOME, who do they resemble the most  ? "

He looks at me dumbfounded and replied " each other ".  ?

The only time we get numbers of people around a local boat ramps are later in the summer when the "tubers" come out.

I'm talking about the river. The lakes where the summer people are water skiing and jet skiing might have more of a crowd...which is why I usually fish the river. I don't like to be in a crowd even if I'm fishing.

We solitary river rats should have our own set of rules. LOL

For me a fair amount has changed and a lot has stayed the same.

Our day looks like this

Get up and commute 10 steps to my laptop. Go into work if needed depending on project work

work 8-12 hours

Do Zumba with wife, She saw it on our super bowl weekend cruise and we started it this spring and it is actually fun and a good work out.

Eat supper

Walk to the creek to trout fish if the weather is ok

Watch some TV

Sleep

Repeat

We try to work in some walks during the day too just to get out. Also grocery shop for us and my parents every other week. We have gotten curbside food twice to support a couple of spots we like. Other then that it is above.

Weekends

Add a 1.5 to 2 hour hike on a little known path on DNR land where we see one or two families. We hope to get the kayaks out once the weather warms a bit, we don't want our first river trip to be in colder conditions. Pretty much stay around home and clean the house and eventually do some outdoor stuff. We have really cut back on our spending so i guess that is a good thing for us. Have a few drinks on the weekend but nothing excessive. Thanks to the walks and Zumba have been losing weight and hope to be in better shape for long days in the boat and kayaking.

Just can't wait to get back to something resembling normal.

Customers do not want me in their houses these days so for me it is like a vacation. I can hold out for a while without work fortunately. Basically I have been fishing and exercising. Staying in the house can get boring at times, and certain stores not being open right now is also unfortunate but probably necessary. So otherwise a lot of computer and TV time

I'm still working. Try to fish or something on the weekends but the weather hasn't been cooperating.

Probably not. Probably just an opportunistic play against carbon emissions.

Ridiculous.
