Casting rod for strippers

I am getting ready to pickup a Penn fathom 15 for striper fishing on Cape Cod . It will be mostly used on the beaches for plugging and some occasional jigging . I was wondering if somebody might be able to recommend a casting rod between 10’ and 11’  for under $300.

I would go with the longest rod you can for strippers.

Ugly stick striper rod should do the trick inexpensive and does the job. You don’t really need a really expensive sensitive rod for stripers and the ugly stick striper rod is nice and does it!!!

I wonder why fishermen have such a problem differentiating between a striper & and a stripper or do they naturally default to a woman taking off her clothes?

Same thing happens in highway construction when talking about striping.
