Where are the Spring Bass? I've been trying for 2 years now to find a public spot, that accessible by foot, to catch some nice size Bass. What colors, what lures work best? Can any of you long time Memphiains help a younger angler out??

Strike king red eye Shad is a prime lure in spring and fall times. Killer colors for me at least are red chart craw, fire tiger, bluegill, any chrome colors and of course sexy Shad (Chrome or Normal are great).
But it’s always good to experiment.
good luck!

Spring means nothing to bass. Water temps between 60-70 degrees means the spawn cycle to bass that usually occurs sometime between March to May in your area.

Look into how to catch bed bass during the spawn, that is where the bass are located now.

Quarantined like everyone else. The Bass heard Tigers can get it and now they are in hiding.

I haven't seen them much as of yet either.  I was out on the water Saturday for about 8 hours and caught 1.  The guy I fish with caught 4.  It was really slow but after talking to some people (at the dock) nobody caught much of anything.  It sure has been a weird year, even for fishing.

I'm a couple hours south of Memphis and it's post spawn.  In fact in most places the main spawn happened 3-4 weeks ago.  I live on a small 3 acre pond and the bluegill are already moving to the beds.  Bass are in 3 feet of water around hard cover.
