Well i guess I’ll be ordering a bunch of the VMC neko hooks and trying them out I think this is going to be my next try in my search for the absolute best wacky rigging hook :)

Hmm...

 

I have been fishing the Senko sine 1997 and have NEVER wacky rigged.

Maybe I should give it a try.

I absolutely hate wacky hooks. Hook ratio flatout sucked. Always skinned hooked in the back of the mouth. 

 

Watched a few videos, asked around, and settled on a 2/0 VMC neko hook. My hookup ratio has been near about 100% and it's just as weedless as anything else out there. 

 

I promise if you try it, you will not go back to anything else

*I found  a pack of VMC #1 size Neko hooks in my tackle inventory and believe that is about a perfect size and hook for wacky rigging a 4" or 5" stick bait (senko) or even a Trick Worm . For a finesse worm I would maybe drop down to a VMC #2 size Neko hook .
