West Tennessee guy here, 31 years old. Always loved fishing. Done it from banks all my life mostly with live bait till this past year. I have access to an old aluminum boat I’m starting to take around to local TWRA managed lakes (pay to fish essentially) while I’m learning and practicing. I will say though I don’t catch a bass very often maybe 1 small bass every few trips but when I do even if it’s a little 10” spotted dink I am just so excited, like a kid almost.

There seems to be endless amount of things to know about bass fishing! So many variables it’s insane, little overwhelming honestly. We have the Bass Pro Pyramid here in Memphis and you walk in the fishing department and it’s so large to me and I have no idea what to get lol. I have bought a few most types of things. Spinnerbaits, crank baits, top water, plastic worms, Ned rigs etc and trying them out on the lakes.

Look forward to chatting with you guys!
