Undrcoverrednek Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Looks I joined the forum back in 2008, but haven't ever posted. I find others have asked the same questions I had and always found what I neede via search. To be fair I haven't fished for bass more than a few hours per year until last year. Im hoping to get back into it some. Quote

Undrcoverrednek Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 Thanks, guys. I fished with my grandpa when I was growing up, but didn't have or should I say didn't make time after work and kids. He didn't fish the weekends, though. Anyway, he passed away and I just got all of his gear. He liked nice stuff, mostly chronarch reels of various generations and nice rods, but he reeled with the wrong (right) hand. I already ordered a curado k and have an SLX on the way to put on some of his rods. I got a bunch of lures too. I'm sure I'll be posting in the other forums as I go through and organize a plan to start catching fish. Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 31, 2020 Super User Posted March 31, 2020 OK Hampton Virginia red neck. About time you started posting and asking questions and adding your answers to others' queries. Check out the Dogwoods Have Bloomed link in the Southeast Fishing section of the Forum and hit some of those apartment and office building ponds in the greater Hampton area. Great having you with us. We can always use another Virginia guy. And have you seen Air Force One do touch and goes at the naval base when you are crossing the hole in the water? Hope you see that plane as it is a beautiful sight. Kerr is closed to tournaments but the ramps are open if you want to go by yourself. The Chick is doing great now, especially with the tournaments cancelled or postponed. So go out there and file your reports so we can all enjoy your adventures. Welcome to the Forum! Quote
