Hey folks, was wondering if anyone could help me out. I’m trying to figure out what model bearings (preferably BOCA) for the white and green Lews Mach1 7.5:1. On the website it’s shows several different models of speedspools etc. but the bearings all looked a little different. I’ve always been a Shimano and Abu guy, so I’ve never dealt with a bearing swap in these reels. Just want to make sure I get the right ones. Thanks in advance!

Try calling Lew's customer service. When I used Lew's reels, the help I got was fantastic. (They would install aftermarket bearings in the reels for you .... for a price, of course.)  They knew which reels would benefit from which upgrades, and why.

The company has changed hands since then, and I don't know for sure that the staff are as helpful and knowledgeable as they were then. I sure hope so; they were good people. Try them and see.       jj

Definitely reach out to Lew’s. They have stellar customer service.

There are 2 versions of the Mach 1 baitcaster. I believe they redid that line of combos 2 years ago. That’s why you are seeing the different models. The pic you posted is the newer Mach 1 The old ones don’t have the combat grips.

Pretty much all those Doyo variants take a 3x10x4 in the side plate and a 5x11x4 on the spool. The crank side is just lateral support and won’t affect casting. I can hook you up, just email me.
