If you are able to get out this is a great way to practice social distancing. Who else is out fishing?

If we still didn't have 'hard water', I'd be out...

I'll be out the next couple days. Not much left we're allowed to do, not that I mind.

Ice out at the lake where I live in Maine in record time this year. It's getting earlier and earlier all the time. Prepping the boat but still a bit cold to be doing stuff like that outside. I might get it in the water on a warmer day next week.

Going to the lake in four hours. I go twice a week at a minimum per doctors orders. My wife's a doctor.?

Unless fishing is a essential job (which I would consider it to be essential) As of tonight Indiana ordered a stay at home order but I work in a steel mill so I gotta report to work

Outdoor activities and exercise still allowed in KS allowed as long as "social distancing", protocols are followed. Might read through the order to see what it really says. A lot of people here are freaking out thinking they'll be arrested if they leave their houses without papers from work, but all the order really is is a "Please stop gathering in groups and running to the store for every little thing", request. There isn't much actual enforcement behind it as of yet.

If I can go today it will be the last for a while since we go on lockdown tomorrow.  $1000 fine and/or 180 days in jail for being out for nonessential purposes and I live across the street from the police station.

Took the kayak out yesterday. Boat ramps in Mass. look like they are going to stay open. Caught my first bass of the season. Just a pound but boy did it feel good.

I have a trout creek walking distance to my house and have taken advantage of that as weather and water levels allow. Bass open April 1st, may drive to river close to house if allowed at that time.

Fishing is a memory with several California lakes closed until at least April 10th. Clear Lake has a $500 fine if caught out on the lake.

I'm neck deep in fixing up a vacant rental property that got trashed. So I wouldn't have the time to fish even without the virus right now. I hope to get out soon. They have not closed ramps here as far as I know.

Missouri has closed one ramp at Mark Twain lake. The state is actually encouraging folks to get outdoors, just follow the guidelines. So, I'm fishing as much as possible. 2 or 3 times per week. More if I can

I plan on going tomorrow. all of our local lakes are currently open.

I like the current approach our local kansas and missouri govenments are taking on this.

We have a shelter in place order, but it is mainly up to each individual to police themselves.

If people use a little common sense we should get through this fairly quick.

I fished last saturday and sunday (Santa Clara County). Talked to a ranger for a bit. I walked around to the far side of the lake and he made a bee-line right to me. Kept his distance. He checked my license from 12 feet away. Friendly guy.

Maybe I've mentioned this in another thread - he said fishing here is fine, he was mainly concerned about the parks in the urban areas. He feels people are abusing the "exercise is okay" rule and the parks are packed with hundreds of people, touching surfaces, kids picking their noses. Good stuff like that.

My lake sucks for fishing, but it's 2 miles away up a windy country road, out of the way. I'm not within 100 yards of another person from the moment I leave my house.

I hope to go tomorrow. It will be my first time out this year. Spent today cleaning and checking the boat and trailer to make sure everything is okay. Have most of my stuff back in the boat. Will find if everything is okay once I get it on the water. This will be interesting to find out what I can and can't do now since I had Knee replacement surgery on both knees in the last six months.

The governor of Illinois has closed all the state parks and rec areas but there are plenty of county and local places to go.  I bank fished last Wednesday and today.  Three bass last week and four this week.  I hope this trend (and only this trend) continues.

Does the girl in the pic come with the Hobie?

I wanted to get the yak out today but working from home and didn't get enough done to sneak away.

I have time to do it tomorrow but of course it's back to rain. Today was perfect weather here in KY, got up to 73.

Most lakes are finally ice-free in my AO. Going to go out tomorrow and shore fish a local pond. Need to get the boat ready, though as it's warming up and it's been a long while since I could get the boat out.

NH just went to the “stay home” suggestion.

Gun shops are exempt as the are essential to the community.

beaches are closed, fishing and hunting ok.

State Police told not to arrest or site anyone for breaking rules.

i guess this is as good as we could ask for

All ramps remain open locally and fish bite is on.

BUT, a problem exists.......

Are small local lakes are loaded up with fisherman, kayaks, dogs swimming.

The trails that wrap the various lakes I've been fishing is seeing heavy travel via mtnbiking and hiking and all during the middle of the week.

People simply want to get out.

I'm still working but yesterday I saw that they have my favorite "put in" ramp on the river gated off.
