TrickWorm23 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Hey y’all, I took apart my Tatula HD for some deep cleaning and am having an issue getting the side plate to seat correctly. It does not want to sit flush to put the screws back in, and when i apply pressure it doesnt allow the spool to spin anymore. I have checked everything i know too, does anybody have any ideas? Quote
Hawkeye21 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Have you looked at a parts schematic to make sure you put everything back in the right order. I have to do that a lot of times. Quote

Kevinator1 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 The kick lever is facing down...It needs to be lifted up carefully so you don't take the spring out of its hole and push it over the little plastic ridge that will keep it in place. Should be able to put on the sideplate after that. Quote

Super User PhishLI Posted March 24, 2020 Super User Posted March 24, 2020 I'd bet the clutch wheel isn't seated on the driveshaft. It's hole isn't round, it has flats at 180 degrees that match the base of the driveshaft. Pull the main gear and drag then check that. PS, install the roller clutch sleeve before installing the sideplate ensuring that it's keyed into the first drag washer. 2 1 Quote
