I’ve been trying to find a mini willow leaf spinnerbait for smallmouth in a creek I fish. It’s the Dupage River in Illinois.

Ive been trying to find a MINI(1/8oz.) willow leaf, but I haven’t been able to find one.

Do these even exist? I’ve seen plenty with a Colorado blade, but no willow leafs.

Thanks much!

You're looking for a Booyah Pond Magic spinnerbait. It's a 3/16oz tandem Colorado/willow leaf.

Stanley makes the wedge plus in a 1/8 oz double willow.  Here it is next to the War Eagle Finesse to get an idea of scale:

Now that is freakin beautiful! Thanks for posting that photo with the size comparison and ruler Bigdriverrat! ??

Another alternative to consider is a 1/8 oz Chatterbait Micro.  Not a spinnerbait, but I’ve had good luck with in some narrow parts of a local river I fish.  A bit more snag-proof IMO.

I know it's not a real spinnerbait, but I started throwing a Beetle Spin again last season and forgot how well they do in creek applications. Really inexpensive and easy to customize. Took me back to when I first started fishing (30 + years ago) !

I make 1/8 oz spinnerbaits out of a modified poisontail mold. This way i can configure them however I want. I have some tweaking to do. Thinner wire and a smaller hook. Not sure if u are a do it yourselfer? You can always just buy some #2,3,3.5 willow blades to swap out colorados.

Bdnoble84, I love to DIY with my fishing stuff. That way I can customize them just how I want them. Thanks for bringing that up. With some of these spinnerbaits I’m just going to swap out blades how you suggested.??

You might want to check out the Bitty Bites 1/8 oz. spinnerbaits from Wahoo in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Especially with a 2.5” keitech easy shiner in a brown trout like color instead of a skirt. Those definitely don’t work at all for big browns in the streams around here

It's amazing how much 1/8 oz (3.5 grams) spinnerbaits actually weigh on a gram scale!

I was using one of these with an UL baitcasting set-up gor my Quatanyine foshing on a local creek. Caught a few reall nice fish for a creek you can jump across.

I can vouch for the Booyah Pond Magic Spinnerbait -- excellent in creeks and ponds where forage may be on the small side, affordable, and can be fished effectively on spinning gear.
