Defishman Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 This is my 1st post and also1st bass over a couple of ounces. I'm sure it's a smallmouth??, caught from a small creek in Northern Delaware on a small rapala lure, air temp was low 50's. How big do you guys guess it was. Didn't measure or weigh it. Thanks in advance. 19 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 17, 2020 Global Moderator Posted March 17, 2020 Nice smallie! Hard to be sure but I'd guess it's in the 15-16 inch range and around 1.5-2 pounds. 1 Quote
haggard Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Congrats on your first decent smallie! I'd estimate a couple pounds. My first was also a smallie, about the same size. You'll remember that catch forever, even after you've caught bigger ones. 1 Quote
ETPH Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Congratulations! Welcome to a life long obsession where all your extra cash flow just seems to disappear! Quote
Super User islandbass Posted March 24, 2020 Super User Posted March 24, 2020 Someone got hooked, in addition to that smallie. ?? guessing the weight, somewhere between 1.25 to 1.5 pounds. Nice first catch. Congrats! Quote
papajoe222 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Welcome. Awesome first post. Don't be a stranger to the forums and now that you're hooked, don't forget to put a little money aside to buy mom some flowers for mothers day. The bait monkey will be introducing himself in the near future and you'll have to hide some cash from him for stuff like flowers. Quote
Johnny Falls Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Nice smallie there and welcome to the addiction! Quote
