imbatman Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 You guys fishing or watching today? Unfortunately I will be watching and trying to get the boat done and ready for fishing soon! Next MLF stop is local and I hope to go watch a little (but I will not be one of the guys crowding the fisherman!). 1 Quote
Tlauz Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 For me there is no choice. Everything is frozen and will be for another month at least. When my season starts, I fish whenever I can no matter what tourney is going on. I do enjoy watching when I am trapped in the cold. 2 Quote
imbatman Posted March 15, 2020 Author Posted March 15, 2020 LOL Tlauz, I like the winter but not hard water, we catch some good fish here in the winter. I 100% agree on fishing over watching. Quote

Super User MN Fisher Posted March 15, 2020 Super User Posted March 15, 2020 We still got VERY hard water here - people are still going out on it with ATVs and such...another few weeks before I can get the canoe on the water. BUT I check in now and then just to glance at the leader board - I have other things to do around the house so can't get caught up in it. Quote
imbatman Posted March 15, 2020 Author Posted March 15, 2020 I guess I should have tagged this into an existing thread.... my bad, Ill get the hang of it. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted March 15, 2020 Super User Posted March 15, 2020 Sorry guys, I am heading to the lake in about 30 min. Went yesterday and caught about 15 smallies, just couldn't get any size (at all). Going to a different lake today. Weather isn't real favorable as it is 44 degrees and a N wind about 12 mph, but you can't catch them from the couch. 2 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted March 15, 2020 Super User Posted March 15, 2020 I usually watch MLF and did yesterday. It’s a 2 hour show, so sometimes I get a little bored with it. The way I remedy that is to pick someone ( or two ) to root for. It keeps me interested. Yesterday, it was Terry Scroggins. He pulled it out to stave off a run by ? Can’t remember who. Got his 23 pounds to place 4th and be able to continue. It always seems like he pulls it off at the last minute. I thought about getting out fishing yesterday but decided to plan on going late this afternoon. Going to be hot though (87) , but the waters still cool. Should be increased activity even since last week. Got daylight savings time now too !!!? 1 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 15, 2020 Global Moderator Posted March 15, 2020 Headed to the home improvement store but then, the lake! Minor focus on paint and trim major focus on bucket mouth bass 1 Quote
Hower08 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 My lakes never froze this year ive been bass fishing since January. Here in N.E Ohio boat traffic is ridiculous if theirs open water. Heading out to shoot some guns today and might go muskie fish tomorrow. I watch all my recorded fishing shows at night 1 Quote

Super User jbsoonerfan Posted March 15, 2020 Super User Posted March 15, 2020 Should have just watched the BPT. It was cold and windy on the water. Only managed 2 fish and they were non-scorable. Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted March 15, 2020 Super User Posted March 15, 2020 MDJ takes the bye and Mr. Martens hangs on to get into the Knockout Round. Quote
