I am thinking about getting the BPS Pro Qualifier 2 spinning reels. I usually don't buy store branded items. I see some info on the baitcasters on here but not the spinning reels. Anybody tried them or know anything about them? I like the fact the are mostly aluminum instead of carbon or graphite. Any info about them good or bad is appreciated.

I had one for 8 years and gave it to my grandson when he was 16.  He is now a 25 year old Army lieutenant and somewhere along the line it was traded in for a new reel, but at the time it was traded there was not a thing wrong with it.

Picked up two of them yesterday at sale. They feel light and amazing. Can’t wait to use them in spring.
