My business has tanked because of irrational fear spread by news stations , internet etc. Only 40 people have died in the US. and I am sorry for those folks and their families but I’m living my life as usual. Better to live your life without fear and have a tiny possibility of catching this virus, or not live it and be scared of everything that comes along and eventually die anyway. This society has become a bunch of wimps. I’m sure world leaders are watching this with interest. Nobody is calling us either, I applied for a third job just in case. Hashtag thanks hysteria 1

Why is this simple product in such demand ? Or is it a joke that simply slipped me ? When you look at the TP package and it states “made from domestic and imported material”, you have to wonder where that “imported material” came from @Bird.
BassNJake Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 March 13, 2020, 2:20 p.m. ET MIAMI — The mayor of a major American city communicated with the citizenry via video on a big screen at City Hall to deliver frightening news. He was placing himself in isolation in case he had contracted the coronavirus. By the next day, his test results were in. Mayor Francis Suarez of Miami became on Friday one of the first American elected officials to confirm he has Covid-19. Mr. Suarez, 42, was tested after having come in close contact earlier this week with a top adviser to President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil who disclosed his coronavirus diagnosis on Thursday. A delegation from the South American country had visited Florida and also met with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, his Palm Beach estate. The White House has said Mr. Trump does not need to be tested.
Super User MN Fisher Posted March 13, 2020 Super User Posted March 13, 2020 Why am I not surprised at that last item? Three guesses, first two don't count.

NE Metro I know is always lower...but that's a haul from me. Ah yes, valid point. I did see it for $2.14 in Plymouth and New Hope this week.

Let's see - closest station in Plymouth to me is the Holiday off 494 & Carlson - and that's 15 miles from me. So 2 gallons of gas and 40-50 minutes of time to save .26 a gallon - or $5.20 for a tank, spending $4.28 in gas to get there and back...NAAAA. 1
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted March 13, 2020 Super User Posted March 13, 2020 The cheapest gas in the eastern U.S.between New England and Florida can be found at the Pilot service center, exit 150 on I-81, in Troutville, VA. It was 2.03 in late February on our trip to Daytona. It's usually at least a nickel cheaper than any other station on that route, but most often it's a dime to fifteen cents cheaper. Are batteries included? 1
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 13, 2020 Super User Posted March 13, 2020 Just got back from the local Target... Fake News is trying to enhance the panic... No shortage of water or TP... BS...We have NOTHING GOING ON locally. 4
Super User MN Fisher Posted March 13, 2020 Super User Posted March 13, 2020 We don't have a shortage here - but I was at the local grocery store yesterday. Clerk told me they had 2 pallets stacked 5' high of TP when she started that morning...by 2pm, the pallets were empty. So ya, the morons are believing what the Fake News is saying. (Course MY idea of fake news might be different than yours.)
Harold Scoggins Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 If game wardens are exposed, do they get quarantined too? Asking for a friend. 1
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 13, 2020 Super User Posted March 13, 2020 Well... I am stocked up with tuna and some pasta. For a hundred bucks I think I am safe for a few weeks. Also, Locked and Loaded. 2

The widespread panic is purely politically motivated. The bird flu was going to wipe out the planet. Sars was going to wipe out the planet. West Nile and Zika were going to wipe out the planet.... No better way to control the masses than putting the fear of God into them. No is not politically motivated, it's people who are worried like the rest of the world. It's not about wiping out the world it's about being sensible. 1 1

Gonna just roll with keeping a little distance and try not to let my guard down. Maybe the lifestyle change for a couple of weeks will be good. 1
