Nob Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Just got my new E6X MBR yesterday. I’m primarily a bank fisherman so I thought the MBR would be a great all-around rod. I feel like this rod will do fairly nice for any application, though I think it takes time to get used to. Any tips for how to do anything differently for the MBR than specific application models? (Ex: set the hook harder on Texas rig on MBRs) Quote

Super User NHBull Posted March 9, 2020 Super User Posted March 9, 2020 The short answer is no. I love all of mine and think I put more fish in the boat with MBR’s. Quote
waymont Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 The MBR 843 is a great rod! No need to adjust hook sets with jigs/T rigs. They have a great fast action, with plenty of back bone. Just hit hard like you normally would. They can do everything well though. Quote
clh121787 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Love both of my 843 mbr E6x and imx. Thrown everything from 1/8 oz shakey heads to 6xds Quote
