I was looking at the Bass Pro Fishing Classic sale on March 12th and found on front page “Excalibur Square Bill.” Went onto bass Pro website to not find it in search. Are these any good!? The sale price is $2.99 originally $6.99.

My wife usually never listens to me or replys when I'm sitting here going on about lures, but when I remarked that I'd like to go next Friday and grab hundred dollars worth of squarebills she actually spoke up and said "I bet you would" Bait monkey quieted down and I said well I guess I can cut it down to $90 and get 5 of each color ?

Not going to find a better squarebill for $3 each. I bet they sell out really fast.

Not sure why the flyer calls them "Excalibur" (the original name was XCalibur) but the packaging they come in says "Booyah XCS100".

I have had them in my hands and will be comparing them side by side to the old XCalibur's in the next couple of days to see how they stack up.

The Storm smash shads look very nice. They are an assorted lot so store selection may vary as there are 6-7 different colors and 3 different sizes.....3/16oz, 1/4oz and 3/8oz.

Don’t know why they call them “Excalibur“ either. I know I’ll be getting a few anyway.  The Storm Smash shads look amazing. Looks like these are a magnet for Stripers from reviews I read. Anyhow I’ll be getting  both lures.

They're making sure everyone recalls and associates the Booyahs with the old Xcalibur lures and discusses it as we are doing lol

i never understood why they put out a dozen lure types or more labeled "Excalibur" and the squarebills and lipless as "Xcalibur"

It's kinda like the Zoom U-tail and U-tale I posted the other day

anybody have any idea?

I'm way more excited about the Smash Shads than the squarebills. They've caught me some really nice fish the last few winters and the Rainbow Smelt color is just right to imitate a small shad.

I was excited to see the smash shads as well. The colors I saw arrive were black chrome orange, blue chrome orange, chrome clown, fire perch, hot perch, metallic yellow/black back and wonder bread.

Might have to buy them all. That’s a steal at 1.49.

I don't usually shop at BPS/Cabelas unless it's a real emergency but I have several gift cards to use.

I tried to go out and buy these a couple weeks ago after seeing the other thread but they aren't putting them out in stores until the 12th.

I'm going out Thursday morning to try and snag a bunch. I hope they are like the old Xcaliburs. For $3 I'll give them a shot.

You can order online and get ship to store for free. Took 2 days and I got my lot

Just left Cabelas and they had them out for sale.

Bought a bunch of both the 100 and 200 sizes. Only annoying thing is they had them in a huge dump bin all mixed together (colors and sizes) so I had to rummage through it forever to find colors and sizes.
