Midwest Fisherman Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 That is pretty d**n slick. I’ve been tossing around ideas for hauling/transporting my rods in the bed of my truck Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 7, 2020 Global Moderator Posted March 7, 2020 Doesn't Dodge have a truck with rod storage in the sides of the truck bed? 1 Quote

boostr Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 I could fit my rods in the cab for it being a F150 Super Cab, but it's usually more than just me going fishing. I've been thinking about a better way to store my rods in my truck as well. Not store persay, but loading them in the truck when going from the house to a fishing spot, and back. I have a bed cover and a 6.5' bed. right now I have a 2x6 bed divider near the tail gate so its a pain laying the rods in and retrieving them without having to release the cover. There's notches in the bed near the cab which I would drop in another 2x6 this way the rods will be laying across the 2 dividers and be alot easier to lay them in and retrieving them without having to release the cover. Oh and obviously have something to secure the rods. Quote

Can get to about 7'4" or 7'6". 8' swimbait rod won't go there. Works even better with one of the cal coast rod carriers. 1 Quote
