In looking at my Spring time collection of lipless crank baits - I notice I have zero colored Bluegill color patterns … *What is your favorite "go to" Bluegill colored lipless crankbait for Spring & Summer ? Thanks in advance !

I think the only one I have in bluegill is a Strike King Red-Eye Shad. I wouldn't call it a "go-to", but I've caught fish on it in the spring.

I like the 6th Sense Crush 50x in backwater bluegill. Also had good luck on the Rapala DT series for SMB on their bluegill color. Caught several on the Storm Arashi in bluegill but  it has been discontinued.

I have a bluegill colored rat-l-trap that I use occasionally, but in warmer months I have better luck with a chrome / blue back rat-l-trap.

Thanks for the suggestions - how is the 6th sense lipless on the fall when using a yo-yo retrieve (something the RES excels at) ?

With a few exceptions - all gifts - Rapala is my crank/jerkbait of choice. Yes, I have a bluegill lipless in size 7

The no longer made Xcalibur XRK50 in Tilapia was the best one I'd found. Bass here smoked that sucker. Lots of them on the bay still.

I’m with majority on Rapala but I also like Strike King. Rat-L-Traps here are a gem. I don’t use anything but chrome colors of Rat-L-Traps. I’ve caught most of my bass on Rat-L-Traps from Illinois to Alabama. They catch fish.

Thanks for replies , I ended up buying two Strike King RES in Natural Bluegill and Neon Bluegill colors . I'll keep my eyes open for the Rapala and Rattle Trap lipless cranks in  bluegill colors as well.
