The Dread Pirate Fisherman Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Does anyone know what this lure is called "brand name"? It was given to me and I love how the bass hit it hard. The hook is two pronged and it has no split ring. Thanks in advance 2 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted March 3, 2020 Super User Posted March 3, 2020 I use to use those along rip rap on the Mississippi river . They were cheap enough that it didnt hurt to much to lose a couple . Cast upstream . let it hit bottom , pop it up and retrieve just off the bottom . Quote
HenryPF Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 H&H Original Spinner Lure as others have said Strike King makes something like it but almost twice as expensive: Strike King Rocket Shad 1 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted March 4, 2020 Super User Posted March 4, 2020 I have had a problem with the double hooks coming off on these type spinners , during the fight with large fish .Its happened three or four times . Now I wrap some wire around the shank to ensure they stay on . Quote
tander Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 H & H has been around a long time. I remember using them back in the 60's. Yes I am that old. Quote
The Dread Pirate Fisherman Posted March 6, 2020 Author Posted March 6, 2020 Thanks to all who identified it. I'm off to buy some more and some jigs while I patiently wait for ice out. Quote
