jebar01 Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Has anyone used the Mr. Twister "sassy shad" swim bait? I was reading an old Fishing Sacts magazine from March 1980 and there was a full page ad on the Mr. Twister sassy shad. I still use Mr. Twister curly tailed grubs, am just curious. 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted February 29, 2020 Super User Posted February 29, 2020 One of the 1st paddle/boot tail soft plastic on the market and they still work if you use them. Tom Quote
Finessegenics Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Lots of people use them here. Especially the 3" for walleye. It's a classic! from mister twister's website: "The length of the 2 1/2" and 3" Sassy Shad® is the length when rigged with a jighead. The actual length of these Sassy Shad bodies is 2" & 2 1/2" respectively." Just a heads up. Quote
Ogandrews Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 I know some old timers use them around here on the Mississippi for walleye, no reason that they shouldn’t work anymore. Seen some fish over 30 on our local forums taken on them Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 1, 2020 Global Moderator Posted March 1, 2020 I fish them in fast water for white bass and wipers. Not a bait I fish for bass really anymore with all the better options out there. Quote
Super User GreenPig Posted March 1, 2020 Super User Posted March 1, 2020 Use them on dock lights for hybrids. Quote
