Jermination Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 ah the dreaded time of year when fish can swim around with their mouths open and gain a few pounds. What are some of your guys more successful tactics fishing these reservoirs? Can usually manage to get a few bites yoyoing a silver buddy, pulling a fluke on a carolina rig, or ever so painfully working a jerk bait. I'd like to hear some input from some of you all on your approach to this situation Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted February 28, 2020 Global Moderator Posted February 28, 2020 I saw some Shad flipping Pretty aggressively on the surface near my house today. The gizzards usually don’t even die off, mainly all threadfin. I have often times netted the Shad and taken them out into the current where there weren’t so many and had better luck there. But since I know where you are fishing tomorrow I would say run up the river and throw a red crankbait Quote
