Super User Log Catcher Posted February 26, 2020 Super User Posted February 26, 2020 Check with Delaware Valley Tackle. I have heard a lot of good things about him on here. I don't know if he repaints reels but he can upgrade a lot parts if you that is what you want. He is a sponsor on this website. 1 Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted February 26, 2020 Super User Posted February 26, 2020 Depends what you want to pay. Check out rembrandt reels on Instagram and he can point you in the right direction. It will cost you more than you think to have a quality paint job. Upgrading parts wise, dress up parts you can buy from hedgehog or the tackletrap. Cleaning, there's a lot of folk out there. DVT is a site sponsor. 1 Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Everything I’ve ever seen is north of $150. I’ve worked on a few painted reels and could always feel a difference when assembling. Not that it hurt anything performance wise. Quote
FrankN209 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I had an old steez painted at Bass Fishing Addictions. They did a good job. Quote

Hower08 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Why not tear the reel apart and find a local hydro graphics company and have it dipped then throw a set of upgraded bearings in it when you put it back together 1 Quote

JediAmoeba Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I have 3 kids. I am sure they could hook you up with some interesting paint jobs. I will throw on some vilest coat spray for free, so they dont wear out in a week. Quote
