No peanut butter? Wonder if anyone has ever tried that

That stuff has been around a long time and still one of the most popular.

If you believe in scent, it’s worth a try.

Alright, alright, J. LEE made an amazing comeback today on... wait for it... black/blue stickworm!! Berkely General to be exact, pegged with a small bullet sinker. Fishing in very slick calm shallow canals, so not sure why he needs the weight, maybe just for bite detection, I would probably be fishing weightless?

WOW, he just caught like a 6lb 7oz monsta... on his stick bait.   WOWZA!!

J Lee is The Man ~

Zero to Hero so far.

Says "He's Feeling It".

Could end up being one of if not his 'best moves' Yet.

Made a 60 mile plus move from Day 1 to Day 2.

Im-Pressive to say the least.

Texas rigged stick worms have been a key player for high finishes in Florida tournaments (and similar waters) for a while...

The next 20 years will be fun watching what he does.

Spinning rod or Baitcaster that kid knows how to fish.

Everytime he does well, I feel for his brother and think Matt should have stayed at BASS

This way he could try and establish himself as something other than "the other Lee brother"

Yeah, thats gotta be pretty rough being the other brother....

J. Lee has some great comebacks lately, but the last tourney on the final day he wasn't able to reproduce anything he did in his comeback run and ended in 9th. I'm not saying it's easy, but it just goes to show some days and spots can be on fire, and the next day go dry...  Each time he has a big comeback, he says he made a 'big move/big gamble' and it pays off for the day, but he's gotta follow it up and be consistent in the days after that as well...

I have a stick worm in my arsenal at all times. That and zoom flukes are my go- to baits.

watermelon colors ( and June bug ) are my best.

Yeah, I missed a lot of it, but he found some good ones, looked like a white and chartreuse vibrating jig? Or I couldn't quite see what he was using. Sometimes it looked like he was working it like a jerkbait.

I didn't see all his catches but what I did see

he was getting on a topwater prop bait

#oldschool

MLF coverage caught a Sweet overhead drone shot catch of a topwater take that we'll no doubt see a few more times.

Yep, Neal is a native and has fishing in his blood

Jacob moved there and will show up at tuesday nighter with his wife and take peoples money.

I fished a tueday nighter a couple years ago and Wheeler, Neal and Strader were all fishing it.

Neals uncle Rogne Brown won it with 19 lbs

On 3 fish

You wanna be a pro fisherman? go fish the tuesday night dogfights on the Chick
