I just purchased a steez sv tw and I’m try to decide whether to use it on my fmj or nrx 853. The fmj will be for jigs, chatterbaits etc and the nrx will be for senkos and Shakey heads. I will be selling the reel off of whichever rod I chose so having a tough time deciding.

Why sell the reel?

Unless you hate that other reel, just keep it for a spare.

It never hurts to have an extra reel.

I would put it on the NRX personally.

True. The steez sv is so light it may not balance well on the FMJ. The FMJ balances better with a heavier reel.

Thanks guys I’m putting on the nrx, I figured it might not balance as well on the fmj, it would just look pretty sweet with the gold accents.

The Steez SVTW on a FMJ does result in a tip-heavy combo, but it also ends up feeling super light in hand, so it depends on what your priorities are.
