Way north bass guy Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 One good thing, if you dropped it overboard, you could likely see it in 100’ of water to snag it back up ( if you actually wanted it back up?). Quote
teamfyss Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I’d like to pick one of these up if the price isn’t too steep.. Sure the color is odd but only 1000 made? That’s pretty cool if you ask me. Plus Okuma makes quality gear, worth a shot. 2 Quote
nascar2428 Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Specs look good. Killer colors for the south Florida area. 1 Quote

Super User soflabasser Posted February 18, 2020 Super User Posted February 18, 2020 The colors are a bit bright but if it is built well then that is what truly matters. 1 Quote

This could be the brainchild of one of the executives, and he may think that color scheme is great. With the folks that contribute to this thread, the hits are gonna keep coming. There’s no such thing as bad publicity! Lol 2 Quote

Basswhippa Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 What reels look like after taking a trip on LSD. 1 Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted February 18, 2020 Super User Posted February 18, 2020 This is what you call "trying too hard". That thing could could cast 500 yards and I still would buy it. Yikes. From their site: Quote Breaks boundaries and redefines urban fishing ?♂️ 1 Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted February 18, 2020 Super User Posted February 18, 2020 My grandkids, who are 5 and 3 would probably love this one. Makes my reels look pretty boring. 2 Quote
RichF Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I like bright colors. I'd use it...if it wasn't an Okuma.. Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted February 18, 2020 Super User Posted February 18, 2020 You never know. In a few years we might all be fishing with one like this. Except with some glitter and sequins on it too Quote
Super User J._Bricker Posted February 18, 2020 Super User Posted February 18, 2020 I guess it comes with one of these lol 2 Quote
walleyecrazy Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 The reel has pretty solid specs, but I personally am turned off by the loud colors. I don't know what it is, but I can't stand super bright colors on fishing gear. I'm sure a lot of them will end up in people's display cases given the limited production numbers. Quote
Super User Scott F Posted February 18, 2020 Super User Posted February 18, 2020 The question nobody has asked, how much will the Lego reel cost? Quote

Ding! Ding! Ding! You get it. It's a collectors' item. More artwork than workhorse. They even mention artisans in the description. Obviously it's not for everyone. But like most art, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 4 Quote

Yep, they are a sponsor. But as I've said many times before, and I'll iterate again here, sponsors have NO SAY over what I do with this site. They have no control over this forum. They'll just have to take the lumps with the sugar. 3 Quote
