sh0wb1z Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Hi everyone, I have a question concerning daiwa baitcasters spare spools. Which is the difference between RCSB SV 1000 Deep spool and the RCSB 1016 g1 SV spool? Thank you! Nicola Quote

Hewhospeaksmuchbull Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I think the RCSB 1016 g1 SV, is for steez. Capacity, RCSB 1016 g1 SV spool - 16lbs 110m RCSB SV 1000 Deep spool - 12lbs 80m Best I could do. Quote

Based on his question, I think that's exactly what he's looking for. I just pinged you as our resident reel expert... Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 The sv 1000 deep I found is marked 80m of 16#. If that helps. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted February 19, 2020 Super User Posted February 19, 2020 The RCS 1016 SVg1 is the stock spool that comes in the Steez SVTW. There's two listings for the same spool on Hedgehog for the stock SVTW spool and the RCS. They're the same thing. I personally love the spool . I also put it in my Steez A's . The RCS1000 is , in my opinion , a faster less aggressive braking profile. This is of course dependent on what reel you put it in. It behaves differently in different reels. The 1012 used to have a strong following back in the day as well. Quote

The one full of 40lb braid Has plenty of capacity, but I want to put 18lb Shooter on the other one But there’s nowhere nearly enough capacity. How does the deeper RCS1000 compare in performance to a 1012? Quote

You'll probably get w thesis paper on the difference in braking profile and applications. Nice suggestion! Will do Thank you 7 hours ago, iabass8 said: The RCS 1016 SVg1 is the stock spool that comes in the Steez SVTW. Thank you Quote
