Ok here is the question....

I’m going to purchase a new fish finder for my bass tracker classic, the original Hook unit is super basic and I want to upgrade.

Requirements:

-at least 7” screen

-GPS w/maps included

-well rounded, easy to use

-cost is always a concern....

can we keep it under $700ish?

Thoughts???

Go a hair over $700 and you can get a Garmin 93SV. You can get a Garmin 73SV for around $500.

I have both Garmin and Humminbird.  From a value standpoint, check out the built-in maps feature to see if your waters are included in the unit - or if you have to buy the additional $100+ mapping chip(s).
