Has anyone seen this story? Green River Archaeological Society's Jan edition tells that a KY man found what may be the oldest fishing lure found in North America. It's called a 'gorge'...story tells also that it's made of locust wood and may be the only wooden one in existence. WOW!!

Did a little more research, the 'loafstone' (upper rt hand pic) is a tie-on fish weight.

It was found in the middle of Twin Lakes Region, some of ya'll may be familiar with the area. Both have some good bass.
