Anyone familiar fishing it near St. Augustine near Trout Creek and Six Mile Creek? Planning on going down there this spring looking at putting in at Trout Creek and fishing that area for a couple of days.....

That’s in my home range. I like 6 mile better. It’s got less boat traffic, goes further, has deeper holes, and is more remote. The big local ramp is at  Trout, so it gets more attention. Lots of pads to fish, and 6 mile especially has some big cypress trees , which usually hold some fish.
I do best in that area on large dark worms fished real slow. Live  Shiners would be best though.

Brunswick is local to me. I know 1 public pond, Blythe Island park. Good bass in it but pressured during summer.

Best bet is the Altamaha river if it's not blown out, also hit up the satilla. PM me and I'll tell you what baits to throw at either. But Fla bass do beat (size wise) our Ga bass. Good luck!

My family has a few farm ponds right on the GA/FL line that I will bank fish some too. Heck if I can get my boat in there I may launch and troll around some, but I really have my heart set on some St. John's giants this spring LOL

Hit me up - maybe we can go - I’m in the Jax area.

I live on the St. Johns a little further south in the Deland area.
